Christening

A child is a precious gift and we’d love to celebrate with you. In baptism, your child becomes part of the church family, as well as your own. Being a parent isn’t always easy and we’d love to help and encourage you – not just for the christening day itself but as your child grows and as we make a journey of faith together.

You may want to find out more on our FAQs page or you can drop in to see us and talk things through. We hold a church office time on a Sunday morning from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm at Stoke Minster. Just fill in the online booking inquiry form below and we can look to see how we can help.  If you live outside the Parish of Stoke & Fenton you can find your local church and parish here.

You can get more information about a christening for your child by downloading our information sheet below and you can check out our FAQs page. A step by step guide to what’s involved on the day and other information is produced by the Church of England – you can find out more here. Don’t forget, we’re also ready to baptize adults if you’ve not been baptised before.
